These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the U Max AI application (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
The App allows you to:
- Answer a short questionnaire about your personal goals and focus areas
- Receive a personalized self-care routine and recommendations (skincare, grooming, sleep, nutrition, posture, and consistency)
- Follow your routines and build streaks
- Track your personal progress over time
The App does not capture, upload, or process photos, and it does not request camera or photo-library access. All plan generation and progress tracking are performed locally on your device.
2. User Content
2.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of the information you provide (such as your goals and routine progress). The App does not claim ownership of your content.
2.2 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for how you use the App and agree not to use it in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, or that is harmful, abusive, or unlawful.
2.3 Local Storage
Your goals, routines, streaks, and progress data are stored locally on your device. Deleting the App may result in permanent loss of this data unless backed up through your device's backup system.
3. Account and Authentication
The App uses Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous account on your device. This account is used solely to:
- Link your subscription purchases across app reinstalls
- Enable subscription restoration on the same or different devices
We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identity information through this process. The anonymous account identifier is used exclusively for purchase management through RevenueCat.
4. Free and Premium Features
The App offers premium features.
4.1 Premium Subscription:
- Full access to your personalized self-care plan
- Detailed recommendations across all routine categories
- Routine tracking with streaks
- Full progress history

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
5.1 The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions:
- Weekly subscription
- Monthly subscription
5.2 Payment and Billing:
- Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store
- We do not have access to your full payment card details
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
5.3 Managing Subscriptions:
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5.4 Refunds:
All purchases are final, except as required by law or Apple's refund policies.
6. Self-Improvement Disclaimer
6.1
The App is intended for personal care, self-improvement, and informational purposes only. It is not a medical, psychological, or professional assessment.
6.2
Recommendations provided by the App (including skincare, grooming, nutrition, sleep, posture, and routine suggestions) are general in nature and do not constitute medical, dermatological, nutritional, or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your health or wellness routine.
6.3
The App does not rate, judge, score, rank, or compare people. Any indicators are intended only to help you track your own personal progress over time.
6.4
Results may vary depending on individual circumstances and consistency.
7. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat: For subscription management and purchase tracking
- Firebase Authentication: For anonymous user identification
- Apple StoreKit: For in-app purchase processing
These services are provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of these features is also subject to those third-party terms where they apply.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property related to the App itself, including:
- App design
- Code
- Branding
- UI elements
- Recommendation content
is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the App except as permitted by law.
9. App Availability and Changes
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the App or any feature at any time
- Update these Terms as necessary
- Change subscription pricing with notice
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available or error-free.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will meet your expectations
- Recommendations will produce desired outcomes
- The App will operate uninterrupted
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for data loss, misuse of content, or device issues
- We are not liable for any actions taken based on the App's recommendations
Your use of the App is at your own risk.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
