Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the U Max AI app (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use our application. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Onboarding Information
During onboarding, the App may ask you to provide your name, gender, goals, and self-selected focus areas. This information is stored locally on your device and is used solely to personalize your self-care routine and recommendations. We do not transmit this data to our servers.
1.2 Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored locally in the App's storage on your device:
- Onboarding preferences (name, gender, goals, focus areas)
- Personalized recommendations and active routines
- Routine progress and streak data
Deleting the App will remove all locally stored data.
1.3 Subscription and Account-Related Data (Third-Party Services)
To offer in-app purchases and subscriptions, the App uses RevenueCat, with Firebase Authentication used to create an anonymous user identifier so your purchases can be tied to your account across sessions and devices. We do not require you to provide a name, email, or password for this anonymous flow. These providers process only the data needed to validate and restore purchases, according to their own privacy policies.
1.4 What We Do Not Collect
The App does not:
- Capture, upload, or process photos
- Request camera or photo-library access
- Collect facial data, landmarks, or biometric information
- Use facial recognition to identify you or others
- Collect your contacts, location, or browsing data
- Sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
- Display advertisements or use ad tracking
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide only to deliver the App's core features, including:
- Generating a personalized self-care routine based on your goals and focus areas
- Tracking your routines, streaks, and personal progress over time
Subscription-related processing is used to unlock Premium features and restore purchases across app reinstalls and devices.
3. Permissions
The App does not request access to your camera, photo library, location, microphone, or contacts. The only data the App stores is the information you enter during onboarding and your routine/progress data, all kept locally on your device.
4. On-Device Processing
All plan generation and progress tracking are performed entirely on your device. No personal content is transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers. The App does not use facial recognition technology and does not process biometric data.
5. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication (Google): Creates an anonymous user identifier for purchase management. Privacy Policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions and purchase restoration. Privacy Policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple StoreKit: Processes in-app purchases.
These services operate under their own privacy policies and security practices. We encourage you to review them.
6. Data Security
All data processing runs on your device. Your personal content is not sent to our servers. Third-party services (Firebase, RevenueCat) operate under their own security practices. We do not maintain a database of your personal content.
7. Your Rights
- On your device: You control your data and can delete it by removing the App.
- Subscriptions: You can manage subscription and payment settings through your Apple ID settings.
- Personal data: We do not operate a user database for the content described in this policy. Anonymous identifiers used for purchases are handled by the third parties listed above.
8. Data Retention
All user data (onboarding preferences, routines, progress) is stored locally on your device and persists only as long as the App is installed. We do not retain any copy of your data on our servers. Anonymous authentication identifiers are managed by Firebase according to their data retention policies.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
